Summer is here and that means one thing…it’s time for the Science Boffins to hit the road!

In March 2018, we enjoyed another successful British Science Week celebrating the wonders of science, technology and maths across the UK.

In February 2018, Boffins Dan and John jet off to Qatar to perform an extra special show to over 2,300 people.

British Science Week – 9th to 18th March 2018

What are YOU doing for British Science Week? Our fun and interactive school science workshops, assemblies and events are getting booked up fast but we’ve still got a few spots left.

At the end of 2017, we were delighted to take part in a ‘very’ special Science Boffins event.

Superhero fears his days are numbered

A local superhero has spoken out amid fears that his services will not be needed in the near future. The hero, whose name has been protected for security purposes, said: “I’ve spent years saving the world and to be told that my future is threatened by children is just outrageous. What’s more, I didn’t see any of them wearing a silly outfit.”

As we edge into November, the end of term is in sight! Why not end your school term in style with a special Science Boffins event for your pupils?

At Science Boffins HQ we are already very excited for British Science Week (9th – 18th March 2018) but now we have even more reason to celebrate because the British Science Association have just announced that applications for grants and funding for British Science Week 2018 are now open!

Science Boffins set sail!

Following the success and popularity of our last cruise to New York, we are delighted to announce we have been booked on two more cruises around Christmastime.

For the majority of artists, the opportunity to perform at the Edinburgh International Festival is an aspiration. For those who manage to make it to Edinburgh, it involves months of rehearsal, saving money, hunting for a venue (let alone hunting for a flat) and even then, you may put on a show that only pulls in half a dozen people off the street.
