Superhero fears his days are numbered

A local superhero has spoken out amid fears that his services will not be needed in the near future. The hero, whose name has been protected for security purposes, said: “I’ve spent years saving the world and to be told that my future is threatened by children is just outrageous. What’s more, I didn’t see any of them wearing a silly outfit.”

As we edge into November, the end of term is in sight! Why not end your school term in style with a special Science Boffins event for your pupils?

At Science Boffins HQ we are already very excited for British Science Week (9th – 18th March 2018) but now we have even more reason to celebrate because the British Science Association have just announced that applications for grants and funding for British Science Week 2018 are now open!

Science Boffins set sail!

Following the success and popularity of our last cruise to New York, we are delighted to announce we have been booked on two more cruises around Christmastime.

For the majority of artists, the opportunity to perform at the Edinburgh International Festival is an aspiration. For those who manage to make it to Edinburgh, it involves months of rehearsal, saving money, hunting for a venue (let alone hunting for a flat) and even then, you may put on a show that only pulls in half a dozen people off the street.

Science Boffins - Kids Party Prize Draw

Hello fellow Boffins. Would you like the chance to win a free visit from a Science Boffin? If so, all you need to do is follow us on Twitter and let us know that you want the Boffins to visit. We will pick a winner at random and that person will receive a visit from a Science Boffin and enjoy a fun filled, spectacular science performance. The winner will be announced on Friday the 17th of May.

T&C’s: The science party provided will be our regular party which lasts one hour and is for a maximum of twenty children. Our Boffins are stationed throughout the country but the location of your party will need to be within a reasonable distance of your nearest Boffin; you can contact Science Boffins to find the location of your nearest Boffin.
